Helping Get Fresh Food to Those Who Need It

One of the best ways to help the underprivileged in our communities is by supporting groups who aim to make sure everyone can eat healthy. That’s why Park recently made a $30,000 donation to Hub City Roots, a Spartanburg non-profit that works to bring fresh food to those who would normally not be able to access it. They do this by strengthening the local food system with markets, equitable access, youth education and development.

This donation will go toward for Hub City Roots’ Seed-to-Table program which introduces elementary school students to gardening, healthy eating, local foods, nutrition, and other STEM concepts right in their classrooms and their school gardens.
