Associates Help Navy Vet Through Habitat for Humanity
Park associates and other community members joined up to help Len Pringle and his family fulfill their dreams of home ownership through Habitat for Humanity.
Len, a U.S. Navy Veteran, suffers from health issues after he was exposed to Agent Orange while aboard the U.S.S. Independence. His wife, Alicia, acts as his nurse while also taking care of their children, Benjamin and Gabby. The family currently lives in a 2-bedroom house where Benjamin sleeps on the couch.
Volunteers spent the day securing walls and roofs on all sides of the home. With all the help from everyone, the family is hoping to move into their new home in early 2024…with everyone getting their own room.
