John Kimberly

Camp succeeds John Kimberly, who is retiring after a distinguished 40-year banking career, leading Park’s growth in the Carolinas. Kimberly’s decades of service to banking and his involvement with organizations, including the North Carolina Bankers Association, South Carolina Bankers Association, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Asheville-Upstate Industry Roundtable, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation and Christ School, embody the spirit of giving back and building stronger communities.

He also served on the board and chaired the annual campaign at the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, chaired the board at the Mission Healthcare Foundation, and held key leadership roles on the boards of Mission Health System and North Carolina Baptist Hospital among others.

“John and Tim’s commitment and leadership have been instrumental in helping our colleagues, customers and communities thrive,” said David L. Trautman, chair and CEO of Park National Bank. “We are deeply grateful for John’s extraordinary contributions and wish him and his family all the best in the future.” Trautman continued, “As we move forward under Tim’s leadership, I’m confident our Carolina Region will continue to uphold our promises to do what’s right, serve more and remain a trusted partner to our neighbors.”
