Park National Bank recognizes outstanding graduates from Marion County
10 local students selected for academic and community excellence
(BUCYRUS, OH) – Park National Bank recently recognized two high school seniors from each of the five Marion County school districts. Students were selected by their administrators for their academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities and overall achievements.
Park hosted students, parents, principals and superintendents at an awards presentation and breakfast at the Marion Chamber Garden Room. Each student received a $150 Amazon gift card.
Chris Hiner, Director of Home Lending at Park National Bank shared career and personal advice with the students. “Be a lifelong learner. It’s something you’ve all succeeded in already. It doesn’t stop now. It doesn’t stop when college ends. Have that thirst for knowledge, and always strive to learn more. It will take you great places,” he said. Hiner continued, “Don’t forget your roots; be incredibly proud of your hometown and the values your family and school district have taught you. No matter where you end up in this world, pay it forward and remember where you came from.”
