Stay connected and stay protected.
Our VIP checking accounts offer options for protecting yourself from overdrafts. Choose the product that’s right for you.
Account Link
Link another Park deposit account to your checking account for extra protection. If you overdraw your account, money automatically transfers from your linked account, if funds are available. No fee for transfer. No non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee.
Checkline*
Use a personal line of credit to protect you from declined transactions or returned checks. Money automatically transfers in $50 increments to cover your negative balance. Interest accrues daily on the amount transferred, but there’s no fee for the transfer and there’s no fee for your account being overdrawn as long as you stay within your Checkline limit. You can pay on your Checkline balance at any office or through online or mobile banking. Minimum monthly payments are required based on the amount borrowed.
Courtesy**
This overdraft option provides up to $400 in coverage when a transaction is going to overdraw your account. You still pay a fee of $35 per item for overdrawing your account, but your transaction will go through, and you’ll avoid the merchant’s fee. You’ll make deposits to return account to a positive balance.
Account Alerts
Stay in tune with your account balance and activity to avoid overdrawing your account. Choose between text and email alerts or mobile app alerts, then get peace of mind from staying up-to-date on your account information.

Additional terms and conditions, fees and qualifications will apply based on the overdraft protection option chosen.
Customers are encouraged to return the account to a positive balance within 30 days. Uncollected account balances are charged off and closed upon or prior to reaching 60 days overdrawn.
*Checkline is subject to credit approval. The bank reserves the right to limit the approved amount. Interest accrues at an Annual Percentage Rate of 18%. Monthly payments are made of either 5% of the outstanding amount, or a minimum payment of $10. Payments will be due 14 days after the checking account statement date. If payment isn’t received by day 14, the bank will automatically transfer $10 or 5% of your Checkline balance (whichever is greater) from your checking account to make the minimum payment. If there’s not enough money in your checking account to make the minimum payment, the automatic transfer will not happen, and you will be responsible for making the payment on your own.
**Transaction types covered by Courtesy Overdraft Protection are checks, automatic bill payments and other transactions using your checking account number. Additionally, you may choose to opt in to coverage for everyday debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals separately. The bank reserves the right to use discretion on what overdraft items it covers and may remove Courtesy Overdraft Protection at any time. We typically do not pay overdrafts if account is not in good standing, regular deposits to account are not made, or account has too many overdrafts. Some accounts do not qualify for COP; if you’re opening an estate account, representative payee account or if there’s a minor under 18 on the account, it is ineligible for COP coverage.
